Pharmaforte Kft. (Hungary) together with its joint venture, Pharmafort Inc. (California) is a family-owned enterprise established in 2002 in Budapest, Hungary by two internationally acclaimed scientists, Prof. George Osapay, and Dr. Klara Osapay. They are both experts in chemical and bio-medical research. Integrating their international experience and expertise from universities and pharmaceutical companies in California, New York, Belgium and Budapest, they are now focused on the development of dietary supplements. These functional food products can provide health protection as well as complementary therapies that contribute to the prevention of disease. As an ongoing scientific effort Pharmafort Inc., undertakes clinical and laboratory studies. All products are tested and analyzed by rigorous HPLC, MS and UV procedures by Pharmafort Inc. The Hungarian clinical testing of Ferulant, a therapeutical product aiding male infertility, is currently in progress with encouraging results. In the field of cancer research, Pharmafort Inc. is studying pomegranate extracts and their effects on neoplastic diseases in cooperation with an American research group at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Long Beach, California.
